My Thoughts: I am woman, not a prostitute, hear me roar!
First off, I would like to say I enjoyed Walk of Shame. I really did. I was laughing out loud during the film, but after I finished, I don't know if I was completely satisfied or not.
It starts off with news clips that, in my opinion, I did not find funny, but they relate to the movie and from there it was like a roller coaster, from great parts, to just terribly written parts to just blah parts in general. It is sad because Walk of Shame had the potential to be something great. However, it failed. It was the kind of film where there was a plot and it kind of went on and on and was very repetitive, until the end. There was no climax, there was no rising action; the movie just went on and on.
Don't get me wrong, it was worth the little 10 bucks to see Elizabeth Banks because, I mean, I would pay 10 bucks to see Elizabeth Banks burp the alphabet, but it was a bit of a let down because they had her and gave her shit to work with.
During the entirety of the film, she was mistaken for a prostitute, which I didn't mind, but it was like: What? What? But there are other awkward misadventures that let you look past that.
Plus, it's Elizabeth Banks, who you've gotta love.
This movie had its problems, but if you look past it, you have a hilarious, raunchy movie.
