Cover Love: I really do love the two girls flipped thing they have going on here and the purple and green work really well together. Nice.
Summary: From the "New York Times"-bestselling author of the Pretty Little Liars series comes the second book in her new series. When Emma Paxton takes over her missing twin's life, she discovers that the consequences of lying could be deadly.
My Thoughts: Okay, I must say first, anything with the words "By Sara Shepard" must be read by me. Sara Shepard's writing, as cliche and girly as it is, is my crack. The Lying Game was amazing, it was raw, it was drop dead thrilling and I loved every bit of it, and Never Have I Ever picks up from that. Not as thrilling, but its an eye catcher. It took things to level two, but slowly.
It didn't start off as action packed as I thought it would be, but it left me wanting more at the end. I really thought I knew everything and then..BAM! Wrong, I was so wrong. I love the way the mystery is settled in around the books, Sara is very good with that, if you loved Pretty Little Liars, then you'll love this!
Plus, its a television show! I love that as well. But, as with Pretty Little Liars, the books and the tv show do not go hand-in-hand, they are different. So beware, readers. But, hey, its a good thing. So the books won't ruin the show! I cannot wait for the next book, Two Truths and a Lie. The wait for my next fix on Emma/Sutton's life shall be a long one, but it is worth it.
And so, Happy Readings,
