Summary: Nina was beautiful, wild & adored by her younger sister, Ellie. But, one day, Nina disappeared. 2 years later, everyone has given up hope that Nina will return, but Ellie knows her sister is out there. If only Ellie had a clue where to look. Then she gets one, in the form of a mysterious drawing. Determined to find Nina, Ellie takes off on a crazy, sexy, cross-country road trip with the only person who believes she's got a chance - her hot, adventurous new crush. Along the way,Ellie finds a few things she wasn't planning on. Like love. Lies. And the most shocking thing of all: the truth.
My Thoughts: Wow, just wow. Wonderful. A great, fresh, new debut that you'll always remember. Lynn's writing style is so fun, its loose, but in a professional way. Its creative and such a sweet novel, but then as you near the end, the thrillers and chills almost make your heart stop. I read this in one sitting, it was too good to put down. Once Ellie and Sean's adventure starts to unfold its just this mystery.
Nina is beautiful, she's artistic, she's talented and well rounded. Also, she's Ellie's older sister. Ellie looks up to Nina and when Nina goes missing, Ellie is distraught and is desperately trying to find her and after two years, everyone else has give up, but NOT ELLIE. Good old Ellie. It was a good concept and I would love to read this over and over, but lesson learned: NEVER GET INTO THE CAR WITH A STRANGER, NO MATTER HOW "HOT" HE IS. NEVER. I enjoyed reading about her, her, determination in finding her sister. The other characters along the way made the book worthwhile as well. The Jamies had me cracking up and also the band, Monster Hands, too.
A very great adventurous read for anyone, an especially great summer read. I hope you guys can go out and read this.
Sorry for the short, short hiatus, but Happy Readings,
