Summary: In 2036 New Jersey, when teens are expected to become fanatically religious wives and mothers or high-priced Surrogettes for couples made infertile by a widespread virus, 16-year-old identical twins Melody and Harmony find in one another the courage to believe they have choices.
My Thoughts: So...I read it. And....It was kind of fucking amazing. I had great thoughts of this book and it exceeded that. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THUMPED. I've heard so much of this book and Megan's other series: The Jessica Darling series. But I loved Bumped. It was unique, it was funny, it was crazy and so over the top, but not in an over done way, which is fucking hard to master, may I mention. Congrats Megan for such an amazing book.
One other thing I enjoyed was the fact it portrayed teenage sex. You don't see a lot of that in books, except if they're boyfriend/girlfriend and usually its their first time. BLAH!
Where's the fun in that? Another thing. The characters, I loved them. All of them! Even Zen. Shoko, too. CONDOMS! There are just so many moments in the book, I can't name them all.
I LOVE THIS BOOK.
Bye, Happy Readings. Off to watch Law and Order: SVU.
